Hey there pals!
It’s 2022, and I am back and ready to hit the ground running! I decided to take January off from posting a blog and instead focus my time on family, food, and planning for the season ahead! And while I loved the time away, I’m so excited for what this year will bring!
First of all – I need to reflect and celebrate. Just 4 very short months ago, we made the decision to launch Kindness Goodness Magic Adventures, turning a dream into a reality… And I am so grateful we took the step to start something new. As an Enneagram 9 and a little bit of a procrastinator, I sometimes struggle to get out of my comfort zone. But I’ve learned that once I’m out, I can be an unstoppable force. It all just has to start with a decision.
If you’re like me, sometimes making decisions can be tough. I usually have an idea of what I want, but when I’m presented with all of the options, it can be a little overwhelming. One of the most common reasons people use a Disney travel agent is because Disney offers so many different resort options – ranging from the budget-conscious Value resorts, to the extravagant Deluxe Villas and Suites. With over 25 resort options on Disney property, not including their several area partner hotels, it’s difficult to know where to begin. Last month, I had the opportunity to stay at two different Walt Disney World Resort properties – one Moderate and one Value.
My first stay was at Disney’s gorgeous Coronado Springs Resort. If you’re looking for a resort that feels like a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the Disney crowds, but still gives you Disney service, Coronado Springs is absolutely the best option for you! Located near Animal Kingdom Park, Coronado Springs provides some of the most beautiful landscapes Walt Disney World has to offer, an array of dining options, and thoughtful finishes throughout the property.
For the second half of my trip, I stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Art of Animation may be one of Disney’s Value resorts, but they certainly didn’t skimp on one single thing. From quick access to Disney’s SkyLiner to the larger-than-life theming and decor, Art of Animation will make you feel like you’re a kid again!
But what does all of this really mean, in terms of budget? Because let’s be real – your budget is one of the most important things when you’re making decisions about your vacation! Here’s some numbers for a family who might want to visit Walt Disney World during the last week of September for Fall Break.
If you’re looking to get the best bang for your buck at Coronado Springs, a standard room would cost around $279/night for a family of four. If (because you’re there for a week and need space away from your kids!) you wanted to spread out a little more, a One-Bedroom Suite at Coronado Springs would set you back around $1000/night.
For a Standard room at Art of Animation, it would just be $245/night. If (again – because you’re there for a week and need space away from your kids!) you wanted that extra wiggle room, a One-Bedroom Suite at Art of Animation would only cost you $529/night!
These numbers just go to show that it’s really about what’s most important for you and your family. If you’re looking for a relaxing and quieter resort, a Moderate option may be the best choice. If you’re more interested in keeping costs down, a Value resort is a great place to stay! There’s really no wrong option – it’s just about what suits you best! My job as a travel agent is to help you make these decisions, while helping you stay within your budget. The last thing I want is for you to come home from your magical vacation, wondering how you’ll ever be able to go again because of the amount of money you spent while you were there.
If you’re wondering what the best option is for your family, I’m here to help! Just take one minute, reach out to me, and I’ll be happy to help you! Let’s plan an adventure together!
See y’all real soon!
